Although it has been many months since Garrett’s passing, we are finally able to have a memorial service for him in OC.
Not ideal but best we could do considering the current social conditions.

Feel free to share a thought, feelings, anecdote, condolence, etc below.

  1. Thinking about what a joy of light you always brought to my day. I was blessed to become so close to you in 2017. We shared so many great memories since then. I will never forget all the times I would leave school early to hang out with you and Jordan. You never failed to make me laugh. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

  2. We are so sorry for your families loss, Garrett was a wonderful young man & loved by many. My special memories are when our kids were preschoolers & we had a little playgroup going, so many fun memories of park & backyard playdates, halloween parties & birthday parties. Garrett was such a sweet little boy. I also have all our ASLS & church memories when our kids were little. You are in our constant prayers. May our Heavenly Father give you His peace.

  3. We are so sorry to hear about Garrett. I remember him around ASLS and church as a very smiley toddler, always happy. It sounds like that didn’t change as he grew up. Sending you our love and prayers.

  4. I loved his warmth and fantastic smile whenever I saw him at Saturday night church service. His presence made my day a better one.

  5. What a shock to hear of Garrett’s passing! He was indeed a fine young man! It always warmed my heart to see him and his mom, Katherine, at church together. His beautiful smile is like that of his mother. You will be terribly missed, Garrett.

  6. I am truly stunned at this news. I got to know Garrett thru ushering at church with his mom. He was a great young man, Garrett would ask me about my job, surfing, lacrosse, and just how I was doing. I’d tease him about how during the time I knew him he got so much taller and stronger, and how the girls would be lining up. He’d just laugh it off and change the subject. Praying God’s grace and strength for Kathy and the family.

  7. It was always so inspiring to see how Garrett performed Ushering services at Mount of Olives church. I always knew I could count on him to work hard. This is such a shocking loss and Walter and I send our love and condolences to the Redwine family.

  8. What a shocking loss. It was a pleasure to coach Garrett. He was truly great to be around, he will be greatly missed.

In celebration of his life the current 2021 lacrosse team will wear a GR sticker on every helmet. He will always be a part of the lacrosse family.

    Best regards,
    Coach Bassett

  9. We love and miss you very much Mr. Garrett. The best riding and racing friend a guy could ever hope for. Ride on buddy.
